For parents
Child safety and privacy
The short version: live effects stay on the device, the child-facing app has no ads, and sharing remains a deliberate user action.
Camera processing stays on the iPhone
Brushlings uses the front camera to place an animal mask on the face in real time. Camera frames and face data are processed on the device; they are not uploaded to or stored on Brushlings servers.
Photos remain under your control
A child can intentionally save a mask photo in the in-app gallery. Those photos remain local and can be deleted. Nothing is shared unless the user starts the regular iOS sharing flow.
A focused experience for children
The child-facing experience contains no advertising and no external links that lead children away from the app. A brushing session has a defined two-minute end rather than an endless content feed.
